material from around the world. Suppliers Notes:
'Feather Agate' agatized fossil rough
from the island of Sumatra in Indonesia.
They think it's Petrified Grass or
another fossilized material. Inclusions
resembling wheat stalks/seeds (or he
called them 'pea grass'??) have been
visible in several pieces so far from the
outside. I've read that this was
discovered while digging for the
petrified coral but according to the
miner it comes from a different part of
the island. It appears to be at least as
highly agatized as the coral if you're
familiar with that, will take a heck of a
shine like any other agate and has unique
patterns & character.
